In this growing chaos everyone is searching for anything that can help them fight against the growing concerns of COVID-19. New data shows that the number of cases of COVID-19 patients who use nicotine are unexpectedly low. This is interesting because the expected number of corona virus patients who are smokers is roughly 25% while there are only roughly 5% that have been verified as having COVID-19. This trend is supported by data from multiple countries such as Greece, France, and even the United States. While this is purely data, and can be skewed, it has led to research being done to see if there is a chance that nicotine may lower the chances of getting the novel disease. This has resulted in nicotine patches selling off of store shelves and online sales in France. While more research still needs to be done on this information there is one thing we do know, vaping is more than twice as effective as all other quit smoking methods combined. So until studies are done and we find out if nicotine can really be an effective deterrent to catching the virus you can rest assured that you can get the best stop smoking methods, as well as cut out all of the unnecessary chemicals (such as ammonia, butane, tar, and carbon monoxide), and control your nicotine intake at the same time by switching to vaping.
